We first fell in love with Veysonnaz through the eyes of our two children. We were searching for a place where the air was crisp, the views were endless, and the mountains felt like home. We were drawn to this "Balcony of the Alps" for its incredible perspective—standing above the Rhone Valley with 300 days of sunshine and the peaks of the 4 Vallées stretching before us.

Over the years, we have come to live by the rhythm of the seasons here. We’ve learned how the light shifts as autumn turns to the first snowfall, and how the air changes when the Alpine meadows bloom in June.

In winter, we’ve spent countless hours exploring the 420 km of slopes. We remember the early years of driving our children down to the Piste de l'Ours when they were small, eventually reaching the milestone where they could confidently ski the red run back to our front door. Summers are spent trading skis for boots, walking the historic bisses—ancient water channels that wind through the forests—and visiting local markets in the valley to discover the region's best wines and cheeses.

We eventually decided to open our home to others who share this appreciation for the mountains. We wanted to create a base that felt like a sanctuary—one with the space and privacy to allow a group to settle in comfortably after a day outdoors.

For us, this isn't just a destination; it’s where we’ve learned to slow down. Whether we are skiing the legendary Piste de l’Ours or watching the valley lights flicker on from the balcony, we hope our home allows you to experience the Valais exactly as we have.
